By purchasing equipment from Hewitt Dental the purchaser acknowledges and agrees to the following terms and conditions:
No Standard Shipping
Due to the size, weight, technical specifications, and handling requirements of dental equipment, Hewitt Dental does not provide standard shipping services for applicable products. Equipment must be picked up by the purchaser or transported through a third-party freight, delivery, or installation provider selected by the purchaser unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Transfer of Risk
All risk of loss, damage, delay, or liability transfers to the purchaser and/or the purchaser’s designated carrier immediately upon release of the equipment from the possession, warehouse, or facility of Hewitt Dental.
Limitation of Liability
Hewitt Dental shall not be liable for any damages, losses, injuries, delays, installation errors, operational failures, or other claims arising from:
- Transportation or handling by third-party carriers
- Improper loading, unloading, or storage
- Failure to use qualified installers or technicians
- Damage occurring during transit
- Site preparation or utility incompatibility
- Misuse, modification, or improper installation of equipment
Inspection Requirement
Purchasers are responsible for inspecting all equipment immediately upon pickup or delivery. Any claims for visible damage, shortages, or discrepancies must be reported. Failure to provide timely notice may result in denial of claims.
Installation Disclaimer
Certain dental equipment requires professional installation, calibration, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Hewitt Dental assumes no responsibility for improper installation or failure to comply with applicable codes, licensing requirements, or manufacturer guidelines.
Indemnification
The purchaser agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Hewitt Dental, its owners, employees, agents, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses arising out of transportation, delivery, installation, or use of the equipment after transfer of possession.
Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing, accepting, transporting, or arranging delivery of equipment from Hewitt Dental, the purchaser acknowledges acceptance of this Legal Notice and all related policies and terms.
